While the principles of photography have not changed, there are some considerations which accompany the use of digital camera. Selection of a file type, white balance, and image resolution are among the basics of digital photography. The workshop will also cover the fundamentals of exposure, the effects of shutter speed and aperture, and lenses. Students must have a Digital Single Lens Reflex or Mirrorless interchangeable lens camera, but do not need to know how to use it for this beginner workshop.
Equipment: Digital single lens reflex or mirrorless interchangeable lens camera which allows the shutter speed and aperture to be set manually. If you are not confident that your camera is appropriate for this class please contact us.
